Hi, friends. Welcome.
Come on up to my front porch and pull up a muskoka chair while I put the kettle on. Will you tell me your story?
This is mine.
I am a fearless creative. I love working with my hands to create something beautiful, and I love exploring new mediums. I’ve explored pottery, watercolours, furniture refinishing, writing, knitting, sewing, songwriting, embroidery, gardening, preaching, baking, and home renovations. And I love them ALL so don’t make me choose just one.
I am a parent to two lively, inquisitive, active, compassionate, powerful, and hilarious children.
I am a worship pastor, seeking to connect God and God’s people through creative, authentic, honest, and relevant worship.
I am a musician, formally trained as an opera singer, drilled into a wicked sight-reader, and self-taught into decent piano improv. I love singing obscure French art songs, crooning jazz standards, belting gospel and folk, breaking into musical theatre, and listening to freshly-dropped albums from start to finish.
I love my family and my community, and I treasure my solitude and quiet time. I love playing hard and working up a sweat, and I adore mid-afternoon naps. I’m learning to embrace the fact that I love just about everything in this beautiful world of ours. I’ve created this online space for me to break boundaries and share my passions and my loves without the need to “niche down.” Buckle yourself into that muskoka chair, because we’re going places and doing things.
Thank you for sharing this space with me.
