The Vision
To create a space where Christians respond faithfully to the climate crisis. We seek to learn more about the issues facing Creation at this current moment, and to listen to personal stories. We want to worship God honestly and faithfully, creating space to lament, repent, and pray. We want to put our prayers into action by taking practical, urgent, and active steps towards God’s Shalom for all living things.

Our topic this month will be “Consuming Christmas.” We’re going to examine our traditions and expectations around Christmas, and explore the often unintended consequences on Creation. We will discuss how we can faithfully celebrate Jesus’ birth and Incarnation, while also caring for the people and the Creation that Jesus came to save.
